AROMA is the sports ministry branch of the Messiah University Athletic Department. AROMA stands for "A Revolution of Missional Athletes", and comes out of 2 Corinthians 2:14-15 where Paul reminds us believers that "...we are the AROMA of Christ among those who are being saved...". AROMA's mission is to empower Messiah University students to participate in God's Kingdom through sport. We believe that as students begin participating in opportunities like AROMA All-Sports camp, they begin to experience God's purpose and desire for sport in the world. As this become the new normal for Messiah students, it begins to create "A Revolution of Missional Athletes."
